We do have a bit of a change to our 2023 schedule, so we want to make sure everyone is aware.

The WKA Gold Cup event that was scheduled to take place at Whiteland Raceway Park is now coming to NCMP the weekend of April 14th – 16th. This change is going to push KRA #2 back one week to April 23rd.

The weather has played a role, delaying the expansion taking place at WRP. That means the facility won’t be ready in time for the first round of the WKA Gold Cup.

Andy and Sarah with WRP, as well as WKA, have been great to work with over the years. So we wanted to do everything we could to make the change as seamless as possible for everyone involved.

8/19/22 - Attention all racers! We have had a last minute cancellation with our Night Lights Lantern event next weekend. In hopes of making it an enjoyable weekend we have tried to put together a fun, stand alone event in its place on Sunday August 28th!

5/6/21 - Unfortunately, not much has changed for our weekend forecast. Although we were going to announce our plans Friday, we have decided to make a decision now for multiple reasons. We will be postponing KRA #3 until August 1st. We were looking forward to hosting our annual Mother's Day race and would still like to make this up on May 23rd for KRA #4. As we did last year, we will offer the race as well as access to the Champions Club for mothers only!

We are upset that we won't be able to race this weekend but happy that everyone has a chance to make this day special for all the moms out there that put their heart in this sport for us! NCMP will still be available from 10a to 6p on Friday and Saturday for practice, rentals, and garage access. NCMP will be closed Sunday.

5/3/21 - Attention KRA Racers. NCMP has had quite a bit of rain over the past week and this week isn't looking much better. We are watching the forecast and may possibly postpone KRA#3 this weekend. With the amount of rain on the way not only the pit area will be affected but the retention pond may be too close to the track to be safe. We will make our decision by Friday morning and let everyone know the make-up date. Hopefully the forecast is wrong and we are able to race this weekend!

In the spirit of optimism, the pre-entry page for KRA #3 is up and running if you'd like to enter online to save time and money

We have been watching the weather since mother nature has been throwing us curve balls and have decided to practice this layout beginning tomorrow in an effort to get everyone some practice time that works in their schedule. We will also begin practice at 9am on Saturday due to the fact that we will be ending our practice day at 5pm in order to hold the 2020 KRA banquet at 6pm! Kid kart times will now be from 11:30a to 12:30p and 2p to 2:30p.

The race day schedule has been included but depending on the number of entries in a particular class we may split some of them on race day. We are looking forward to having everyone out for a great weekend of racing!

4/1/21 - 2021 is looking to be a great year for KRA! After all the trials and tribulations of 2020, we are looking forward to getting the new season under way.

First of all, we know that everyone is wondering about the banquet for the 2020 season and we have decided that the best way to make that up would be on Saturday, April 24th. We will end practice at 5pm that day and begin our banquet at 6pm. There will be no meal offered this year and this will be very informal, but we want to make sure we get everyone the prizes and awards they worked so hard to earn. I know there may be issues with this date but if you speak with us at the track, we will do our best to make accommodations.

Secondly, we are happy to announce the addition of a 206 Super Heavy/206 Super Masters class! We will offer this as a combined class running together that will be scored separately. Both classes will run the same rules as all the other 206 classes, but the Super Heavy will have a minimum weight of 400 lbs. The Super Masters will have a minimum age of 60 years old and a minimum weight of 380 lbs.

Lastly, we will be running configuration #2 for our first race. We will be running our traditional race format of; practice, qualify, race. We did get plenty of positive feedback regarding our alternative race format of; practice, qualify, prefinal, final last year and you can expect to see plenty of that as the season goes forward.

We have gotten to see some of you already but can’t wait to see everyone out for KRA #1 on April 11th.

Raceday Schedule | Track Layout | Enter Online

Obviously, this will come with a few restrictions. We are also watching the weather closely to determine if we will be able to do this comfortably. We will make our final decision on the weather by Friday afternoon.

As mentioned previously, we will be moving our registration table, parts sales, and food sales outside of the main building. All services will be available but will be handled by runners. There will be no customers inside the main building.

Unfortunately, we are not able to have the kid karts this weekend, but we will offer a KA Junior and KA Senior exhibition class.

We will also be spacing out the grid and pit spots to maintain distance from other racers as well as leaving additional time to scale so that 6’ can be maintained in the scale line.

This will be a STAND-ALONE, NON-POINTS event. We are in the process of redoing the 2020 NCMP schedule. It is not ready to publish just yet but the Dan Wheldon Memorial ProAm scheduled for next weekend has been postponed so we will move KRA #1 to May 3rd and that will be the official start of the KRA season. We will release the updated schedule in the coming days.

We do encourage those who are at greater risk to skip this event. If you attend this race, please bring the minimum number of people that you can race with. We also ask everyone in attendance to practice preventative actions.

- Stay home if you are sick - Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Maintain a minimum of 6’ from those around you at all times.
- Refrain from physical contact such as shaking hands or fist bumping

We are excited that we have gotten approval for this event and will be strictly enforcing the social distancing guidelines so that we are able to continue to race moving forward.

Just to reiterate, this will be a STAND-ALONE, NON-POINTS event and we encourage anyone who has reservations to skip this event

The pre-entry page for this Stand Alone KRA race is up and running if you'd like to save time and money and enter online.

3/29/20 - We have decided to postpone the upcoming race due to the fact that we have obviously created some hard feelings which we never anticipated. The 2019 Kart Racers of America Series will have a couple class changes in 2019. KRA will have a combined but scored separate Mini Swift/Micro Swift class in 2019. To not add more classes and time to the race day, Yamaha Jr. Sportsman will go from 2 classes to 1 in 2019.

Also in 2019 the KRA Series will permit left hand drive Briggs engine karts in the Briggs LO206 Cadet class. With a season of watching the left hand drive karts race at many events outside of KRA, we have not seen an on track performance advantage with that engine location and are confident with the parity with either engine location.
